Incorporating Our Story to conventional library storytelling

Involve Me

During the winter vacation, HuLu Alley Reading Group, on behalf of Tainan Children’s Library, conducts a series of storytelling activities at a bookstore in south Taiwan. The Involve Me researchers made use of the opportunity to incorporate Our Story to the conventional storytelling activities, where children make digital stories about the storytelling activities on the spot. In this way, not only can children listen to stories, but they can also create and share stories with the audience.

Here is an example of a story made by an elder sister (10 years old) and a younger brother (8 years old). Their title is: “Listening to stories is fun”.
