World Book Night 2016

We’re supporting World Book Night once again by sharing information about this annual event which sees thousands of volunteers donate specially selected books to individuals and communities with limited access to reading resources.

The annual celebration is run by the Reading Agency “a national charity that inspires people to become confident and enthusiastic readers to help give them an equal chance in life.”  The celebration’s aim is not only to share books, but also to foster a lifelong love of reading.

Although applications to register to become a volunteer have now closed, you can still join in the celebration by registering to donate books of your own. That’s what we did last year and we’ll be doing so again. Find out more about World Book Night and how you can take part here.
